Fallen Officers Linda Huff, Idaho State Police trooper Huff, 33, was shot to death outside the Coeur d'Alene office of the Idaho State Police. She was the first female officer to die in the line of duty in Idaho My American hero is my mom. She is my hero because of her bravery. She was a police officer. unfortunately she was shot and killed while in the line of duty. She was a good person. We did many things together. We loved each other's company.
