A Colorado businesswoman, Patricia was murdered at a West Des Moines hotel in 1993.
She was an accomplished woman and had graduated as the top math student from the University
of Northern Iowa and was one of five valedictorians at Keokuk Senior High
School in Keokuk, Iowa, class of 1975.
Gaile Skurlock was brutally murdered in Independence, Missouri on June 13, 1974. Because of the tremendous efforts of some outstanding law enforcement professionals who reviewed her case, her killer confessed in July of 2001. Billy Joe Buster is scheduled to stand trial for her murder in November, 2002.

Josie was brutally murdered march 8th 2001 along with her boyfriend and her
boyfriends grandparents.
It hurts even more because I didn't get to say bye.
But I stop myself, and maintain these dry eyes.
It hurts to know that your no longer around.
The silence that was there before you came is once again the only sound.
If I could, I would have taken your place,
just so everyone else, could still enjoy your face.
Time expired on a life that should have lasted so much longer.
Josie, when you were around everyone seemed so much stronger.
So as we all try to find a way to say goodbye,

Anita was a disabled murder victim of a repeat offender. This violent criminal had a history of previous murders. Actions of the written legal system show that violent criminals are granted respect (many times with leniancy) before any considerations
are made of the voiceless victim.
